We had a very nice stay at the Villa Marquis hotel for our wedding anniversary. The stay was made extra special with the Grand Suite booking as the balcony had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. Paul on reception was excellent both before and after check-in. He were very responsive and helped answer any questions I had. When we arrived we were given welcome drinks and chocolates, and then in our room a lovely fruit display and drink were laid out for us to enjoy, along with a welcome card wishing us a happy anniversary. The room itself was huge, with an amazing roll top bath, huge waterfall shower, separate dressing area, and a separate toilet with its own door. There were balconies either side of the room, but we only used the one with the amazing view, not only of the Eiffel Tower but you can also see many other Paris attractions such as Notre Dame. The breakfast was just OK - the staff were attentive but I believe the lady who served us was new so there was some confusion. There was no fresh milk and we had to wait for croissants to be put out. On our second morning we went down and got coffees and croissants to take back up and enjoy on the balcony and the team were happy to help, proving a tray to carry back up in the lift. The location is great, it is on a quiet street close to Alma Marceau station, which can get you easily to the Louvre or the Trocadéro, and it's within very easy walking distance of both the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elyssee. Unfortunately at check-out there was a slightly sour taste, as we had been left a box of biscuits and sweets on the side at some point during our first morning when we were out (just left without clearing any dirty glasses or making up the room strangely). I had called reception and was told that anything outside of the mini-bar was complementary, so we had decided to take these as a gift for my children. At check-out we were charged nearly €70 for these which was frankly ridiculous - so we left them.

there was nothing i did not like about this hotel, seriously. from the moment we stepped inside the hospitality exceeded my expectations. i actually just stumbled upon this hotel thru Booking.com since I didn’t book until we landed in Orly from mykonos. the 30 degree change in weather didn’t bother us at all. the check-in process was smooth, they were beyond nice and even offered us some welcome drinks (cava). the hotel was overbooked and we were upgraded. the location was everything! the beds were the most comfortable beds ever and surprisingly, no noise can be heard unlike some of Paris hotels where you hear every little thing going on outside. We also had their buffet brunch which was delicious and food was abundant. i did not wanna leave! Paul who helped us book a taxi to CDG and had friendly convo was us was very warm.

You can't complain when you're offered a glass of champagne at check-in! The staff went above and beyond to make sure your stay was comfortable and surprised us with tasty treats in our room through the week. There was coffee and tea available in the room. The beds and pillows were very comfortable which was very important to us. The bathroom was stocked with quality products. We had a room with a balcony and since the rooms are small it was nice to access the outdoors. The restaurant offers great food and the location was walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and Louvre.

Best experience of my life!! The staff couldn’t do enough, so attentive, warm, friendly and genuine lovely people. They really are a credit to the company & themselves. Edgar has to get a special mention, what a fantastic genuine guy, who did an absolutely amazing flower display in the room for my partners, now fiancé Birthday. We also celebrated quietly our engagement, with the generous gift of cava & chocolates really appreciated. Id truly recommend everyone If staying in Paris, please visit this hotel and its wonderful staff.

The location is excellent - in the center, within walking distance to all attractions, but at the same time on a quiet street. The staff is very polite. The room size is much larger than what is usually offered in the area. The restaurant has delicious food, the prices for lunch and dinner is not as expensive as in the area. But breakfast is expensive in my opinion. A 5-minute walk (near the metro) there is a bistro with a French breakfast with a variety of omelettes, open from 7.00 in the morning.
